Why I Take the College English Test Band 6?
Some people think it unnecessary to take the college English Test Band 6 (CET?6). One reason is that in most schools, it is compulsory to pass CET?4 but optional to pass CET?6. Another reason is that they think CET?6 is simply beyond their ability. And besides, they think CET?6 isn?t playing an important role in their job?hunting at present.?
I, however, have decided to take and pass CET?6. First of all, I like the challenge. My desire to pass CET?6 can motivate me to study English harder and further and to prove that I have the ability to learn English well. Secondly, English is one of my major interests. Finally, English is of great use for my further study and future work. If I stopped my English study so soon, I could not expect my English to be well connected with my graduate studies and future job. In one word, taking CET?6 brings me nothing but good.
