                           Smoking Is Harmful

     At the class meeting our teacher read us a report in the newspaper. A certain student in a middle school smoked and he wouldn't get rid of the bad habit though his teacherand friends warned him not to smoke any more. He even stole money to get cigarettes and was pat into prison in the end. This really gave usa shock. As we all

       smoking is very harmful to our health. It does great harm not only to our health, but also to our mind, especially for us teenagers. Now more and more people all over the world have given up smoking or have made up their minds to do so, I think we middle school students are the future builders of our country. We should study hard and make progress every day. We should form good habits so that we can spend our time learning things useful and valuable for our motherland and people, I think today's class meeting is very meaningful to my classmates who have a bad habit of smoking.     吸煙有害

    在班會(huì)上，老師讀了一篇報(bào)紙上的報(bào)道。某中學(xué)生染上抽煙的惡習(xí)，盡管老師、朋友勸他不要再抽煙，但他戒不掉，甚至發(fā)展到偷錢買煙，最終被送進(jìn)監(jiān)獄。大家都很震驚。我們知道，吸煙對(duì)健康危害極大。它不僅危害我們的健康，也危害我們的心靈，尤其是我們十幾歲的青少年。現(xiàn)在世界上越來越多的人已經(jīng)戒掉或者決心戒掉煙癮。我想我們中學(xué)生是祖國(guó)未來的建設(shè)者，我們應(yīng)該好好學(xué)習(xí)，天天進(jìn)步；我們應(yīng)該養(yǎng)成好的習(xí)慣，以便能夠把時(shí)間花在學(xué)習(xí)對(duì)祖國(guó)對(duì)人民有用的東西上。我想今天的班會(huì)對(duì)那些有抽煙惡習(xí)的同學(xué)非常有意義。
