教案設計（Unit 4 中 Where is my backpack？）
教學過程Teaching procedures: Task1 Make a response to the prepositions (2 minutes) Put a ball first in a box, then on the box, next under the box, each time ask the Ss: Where’s the ball now? And let them answer. Purpose: I want to know if the Ss have prepared for the new words. Task2 Experience the prepositions (3-4 minutes) 1. Show them some pictures by Multimedia and ask: T: Where is my English book? Ss: It’s on the desk. T: Where are my keys?Ss: They’re under your book. T: Where is my dictionary?Ss: It’s in the backpack. 2. (Using classroom objects): Where is the clock/book/dictionary/chair/backpack/…? Where are the keys/ desks/ plants/ windows/…? Purpose: To draw the Ss’ attention to the contractions Where’s, It’s and they’re and the differences between It’s and they’re. Task3 Practice the prepositions in pairs (5-6 minutes) Showing different pictures in PPT: 1. A picture of a classroom, Ss talk about the picture in pairs. 2. A picture of a bedroom, Ss practices in pairs. Purpose: To train the Ss’ ability of using target language, and develop their communication by pair works. Task4 Games (5-6 minutes) 1. Hide and look for things (2-3 minutes) Students hide and look for the school things in pairs. One student hides a school thing and asks: Where’s…?Where’re…? The other student guess and answer: It’s in your desk. They are in your pencil-case. 2. Play a guessing game ( 2-3 minutes) Cover the pictures which have some objects in/ on/ under them. Then ask the Ss where they are. eg: Where’s the clock? Is the clock on /in /under the …?No, it isn’t. / Yes, it is. Where are the cats? Are the cats on /in /under the …? No, they aren’t.Yes, they are. Purpose: To revise Yes/No questions which includes prepositions in/ on/ under/ Task5 Listening and numbering (5 minutes) Look at the pictures in 1a and 2a: Ask the Ss to name the objects in the pictures, and number the things in the pictures while listening to the recorder.
