To find out some ways to learn English Teaching steps: Step 1 Leading-in Greetings: 1.Talk about something the students did on summer vacation. Step 2 Pre-task 1. Read the new words by the Ss first. 2. Then check the Ss if they can read the new words by themselves correctly .if there is a mistake, correct. 3. Give them several minutes to practice reading and memorizing the new words. Step 3 Pre-task 1. Look at the part1 and understand the words. 2. Ask Ss to do the part1 as request and fill in the form. 3. Explain and check the answer. Step 4 Listening 1. Look at the part2 .Listen and match these words, 2. Then check the answers. 3. Look at the answer and listen again Step 5 part3 leading-in Free talk:  Ask Ss to translate the sentences: How are you?  How old are you?  Then translate the words of sentences one by one .Compare the tow situations of meaning and judge which is true. Step 6 Pre-task 1. Listen to the tape carefully 2. Ask four Ss to act the conversations out and others listen 3. Read the conversation by the Ss themselves and practice reading. 4. Give some minutes to fill in the chart in page3 part4 5. Listen again and check the answers for the part 4.. 6. Ask Ss to find out the difficult that they don’t understand and explain it. Tell some sentences and grammars. 7.  Conclude some methods of learning English. Step 7 Homework: Revise the new words. Period 2 Teaching aims: 1. Learn to ask and answer questions. 2. Learn to pronounce correctly. 3. Learn to speak English in correct intonation and can give advices Teaching steps: Step 1practising .Look at the part5, work in pairs ,every two Ss discuss the questions ,ask and answer the questions each other, then ask several groups to show it out. Step 2 Listening 1. Liston to the tape carefully for one time 2. Liston to the tape and follow it. 3. Ask some Ss to act it out. Step 3.Speaking 1. Work in pairs; give some minutes to do the activities, ask some Ss to act it out. 2. Ask some Ss to aid other advice to improve learning English. Step 4 Conclude and review (Teachers lead students to conclude and review) 1. Read the new words again and again 2. Let Ss to list the vocabulary and sentence patterns that have learned. 3. Read the conversation again. Step 5 Homework Read text, copy and memory the vocabularies and grammar of this lesson. 八.
