2016考研英語之比較狀語從句的用法

眾所周知，狀語從句是指句子用作狀語時，起副詞作用的句子。比較狀語從句是其中重要的一種，主要運用于形容詞和副詞的原級、比較級及最高級的句子之中，通常由as或than引起。那么，比較狀語從句還有哪些奧秘呢？下面作者就帶各位2016考研人來一起學習一下。

比較狀語從句常用引導詞為as（同級比較），than（不同程度的比較），特殊引導詞為the more……the more……； just as……，so……； A to B is what /as C is to D ； no ……more than ； not so much A as B .

【例句】

Wealth is just like salt water， the more you drink， the more thirsty you will.

財富就像海水，你喝的越多，你就越喝。

Life is never as bad or as good as people say.

生活永遠沒有人們說得那么好或那么壞。

【知識拓展】寫作當中經常會用到“……很重要”這一句式，用英語如何表達？something be important/essential的詞匯表達。大家可以通過學習比較狀語從句，來提升這種表達的層次，從而博取高分。

上述句子可以概括為A is to B what C is to D. 替換ABCD四個名詞就可以用來表達“重要性”這一概念。例如：

比較狀語的倍數表達法：

①A+be +倍數+as many/much as +B

②A+be +倍數+the amount +B

③A+be+倍數+what it was +B

中國1996年的離婚率近1956年的17倍。

①Divorce rate in China in 1996 is almost 17 times as much as that in 1956.

②Divorce rate in China in 1996 is almost 17 times the amount in 1956.

③Divorce rate in China in 1996 is almost 17 times what it was in 1956.

④Compared with the divorce rate in 1956 ，it has almost increased 17 times in 1996.

⑤By comparison with 1956 ， divorce rate in China in 1996 has jumped from less than 0.5%，to almost 8.5%.
