　　Laura：

　　I'm a student at Peking University. I was wondering whether I could be an intern here.

　　Lao Zhang：

　　Are you good at writing?

　　你擅長寫作嗎?

　　Laura：

　　Yes, I believe that I am. Here are some samples of my writings. Some of them were published in magazines.

　　嗯，我覺得還可以。這是我的一些文章。其中幾篇在幾家雜志上刊登過。

　　Lao Zhang：

　　Good. Would you like to be an assistant for one of our editors?

　　很好。你愿意給我們一個編輯當助手嗎?

　　Laura：

　　Yes, I would love to. Thank you.

　　Laura：

　　Hello, I have been here for an hour without anything to do. Can you give me some work?

　　John：

　　You're real proactive. Okay, help me sort out the archives.

　　你可真夠主動的。好，幫我整理一下這些文件吧。

　　Laura：

　　OK, but it doesn't seem like it will take long. What can I do next?

　　好，但這應該花不了多少時間。接下來做什么?

　　John：

　　Fax these order forms and inform the buyer of the deal date and quotes.

　　去把這些訂單傳真過去，通知買家交易日期和報價。

　　Laura：

　　OK, I really hope to undertake some more important work.

　　John：

　　Be patient. You must start with some easy work.
