1.Its time for…/to do sth.
春天到了，該種樹了。
Spring has come, its time to plant trees.
是我們聽英語節(jié)目的時間了
Its time for us to listen to English programme.
該上學了。
Its time to go to school./ Its time for school.
2.Its two meters (years) long (high, old).
這個游泳池長50m,寬20m，深2.5m。
The swimming pool is 50 metros long, 20 meters wide, two and a half meters deep.

3.keep sb. doing

5.like to do / like doing
小孩喜歡跨過草坪玩兒，李老師常阻止他們這樣做。

6.make / let sb.(not) do sth.

At that time, her mother made her sell flowers in front of the cinema
他們讓我們在雨中踢足球。
They make us play football in the rain.
7.neither…nor
惡劣的天氣和艱苦的條件都不能改變她在那里教書的想法。
Neither bad weather nor the poor condition could change her mind to teach here.
Jim和Tom都不打算開車去買菜。
Neither Jim nor Tom is going to buy vegetables by car.
我父母和姐姐中午都不在家吃飯。
Neither my parents nor my sister has dinner at home.
8.not…at all
他們昨天贏了申花隊，我一點也不覺得驚訝。
They beat the Shen Hua Team yesterday, but I didnt feel surprised at all.
他對從事的工作一點也不感興趣。
He is not interested in going in for research at all.
如果父母對孩子一點也不嚴格（strict），孩子的成績就會很快下降。
If parents are not strict with their children at all, their marks will come down quickly.
9.not…until
昨晚直到媽媽叫他去睡覺，杰克才停止玩電子游戲。
Jack didnt stop playing the computer games until his mum asked him to go to bed.
別擔心，直到雨停了他才回來。
Dont worry, he wont be back until the rain stops.
昨天晚上一直到12點我才睡著。
I didnt fall asleep until 12 oclock.
10.One…the other…/Some… others…

She spent lots of time surfing.

15.stop to do /stop doing

Even these delicious cakes didnt stop him from leaving.
