Everybodyhas his on family. hat is family ? I don’t think everyone reallyknos. There are six letters in the ord “ FAMILY ”. I think “ F ”means “father”, “A” means “and”, “ M ” means “mother” , “ I ” means“ I”, “ L”means “ love” and “ Y ” means “you”. So “ FAMILY ” is the short formof “ Father and mother , I love you.” Don’t you think so ? Father andmother love us , and e love father and mother . That’s a happy family.

In my opinion, a mixed class is morepreferable to an exclusive one in terms of benefits of both foreign and Chinesestudents.

　　I have reason to support my view. Foreignstudents may find it very helpful to further improve their language skills in amixed class. Provided that their Chinese is competent enough to follow thelectures, a mixed class furnishes them with a golden opportunity to brush uptheir Chinese proficiency and understand Chinese people. Only in this way canthey get into closer contact with Chinese. Coming from afar, they are reluctantto be separated and treated as “ foreigners”. Hence to their benefits, weshould not set barriers for their deeper involvement. Only by mixing withChinese students can they gain a better knowledge of Chinese culture.

　　我有理由來支持我的觀點，外國學生會發現在混合班能夠更進一步提高語言能力。假若他們的中文能力足夠應付聽課，那么混合班就給他們提供了一個絕好的機會去熟練地復習中文，還能夠了解中國人。只有用這種方法他們才能加緊與中國的'聯系。從長遠來說，他們也不想有隔閡，被當做“外國人“。因此，為了他們的利益，為了他們更進一步的提高，我們應該消除障礙。只有在混合班他們才能更好地了解中國文化。

　　Taking into account of all these factors, wemay arrive at the conclusion that it is beneficial to adopt the practice of amixed class. A seemingly trivial event as it is in study, it may exert aprofound impact on both students’ individual life and cross-culturalcommunication.

　　鑒于以上因素，我們能夠得出結論，開展混合班是有益處的。這在學習中是顯而易見你的，這隊個人生活和跨文化交流兩方面都有深遠的影響。

It can＇t be denied that men take a dominant position in strength, logical thinking etc., but there are characteristic advantages women have anyhow, in which men fail to contend with them. On one hand, they demand equal opportunity; on the other hand, they take "lady first" for granted,considering that it is perfectly justified for men to open door for them, offer their own seats to them, pay for dinner for them.Does it make sense? How can you ask others to treat you equally while you yourself have admitted the inequality in advance?

　　爺爺又說：“字母要寫得大，兩行之間要有空隙！”我疑惑地問：“為什么？這是浪費紙資源。”其實我是想寫得小點，可以快點寫完，好看電視去。誰知，爺爺不好意思地說：“孫女，你教我學英語，先從二十六個字母開始。”我這才明白爺爺為什么要我寫字母。于是，我非常標準地寫完了二十六個英文字母，又快速地念了一遍。這可把爺爺急壞了，只見爺爺皺著眉頭說：“櫻櫻，你慢點，我在做記錄。”我一聽，奇怪地問：“做記錄？這也要做記錄嗎？”爺爺解釋說：“我怕記不住，在字母下面都注了漢字，比如‘大比六’就是‘Ｗ’，‘外’就是‘Ｙ’等等。所以你得說慢點。”看著爺爺一副不學會不罷休的'認真模樣，我被感動了。漸漸地，我靜下心來，開始耐心地教爺爺學英語，爺爺也在認真地給字母做漢語拼音。

　　突然，爺爺指著字母“Ｇ”問我：“孫女，你看，這個字母該怎么注音？”我一副洋洋得意的神情說：“呵呵，還是讓我來告訴你吧！”我看著字母“Ｇ”，心想該怎么給它做漢語注音呢？還真把我給難住了，沒辦法，我只好找后援——妹妹，一起來想。

　　妹妹摸摸腦袋，眼珠“骨碌”一轉，眉開眼笑地說：“‘Ｇ’不是‘急’嗎？”我嘴里默念著“Ｇ——急——”對呀，于是趕忙幫爺爺寫了上去。爺爺見了，樂得嘴都合不攏了。

　　看著爺爺認真的樣子，我不由得想起了一句名言：活到老，學到老。其實，大家都應該有這種精神，因為知識是無窮無盡的。
